Santa Maria Releases Bilingual Fall–Winter Recreation Guide With Classes, Sports and Events

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Families looking for affordable or nearby activities can consult the City of Santa Maria’s 2026 Fall–Winter Recreation Guide, now available online in both English and Spanish.

In its September 4 announcement, the Recreation and Parks Department described the guide as a schedule of seasonal classes, sports and community programs for residents of various ages.

How to find an activity

The guide is accessible through the city’s official recreation website. Residents should review specific dates, ages, fees, registration requirements and available space before planning to attend. Some activities may fill or be canceled, and a published program listing does not guarantee an open spot.

The city provided English and Spanish versions, making the information more accessible to families who prefer either language. Printed instructions, online registration procedures and accessibility arrangements should be confirmed with the department.

Questions about eligibility or costs

Parents may ask which activities offer reduced fees, how to register young children, which events are open without advance booking and what transportation options exist. These matters vary by program.

The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department lists 805-925-0951 extension 2260 for program questions.
